Daily: You set one or more time point(s) in a day, or you can set a time range to make it backup every few hours. It applies to the situation when your data updates frequently.
Weekly: You set a time and day of the week. Thus you backup task will begin at the time you have selected. Ex: Friday at 12:00pm.
Monthly: You set specific days of every month based on date or week. Once you select that, you can set a time for the schedule to begin.
Start Up/Shutdown: You can run backup when system start up, system shutdown, user log on or user log off. If you select only once a day, the first system event will begin the schedule. Then select a date that will reoccur within the schedule.
